Christopher Nolan's Next Directing Film To Be Action Thriller ‘Dunkirk’ For Warner Bros.
Christopher Nolan's next film will be going to France during the World War II Era.
"Dunkirk" will be based off of Nolan's original screenplay and will be set during the evacuation of France during World War II.
“We are thrilled to be continuing our collaboration with Christopher Nolan, a singular filmmaker who has created some of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful films of all time,” said Greg Silverman, president, Creative Development and Worldwide Production. “‘Dunkirk’ is a gripping and powerful story and we are excited to see Chris, Emma and their cast realize it on the big screen.”
The film is dated for a July 21, 2017 release and will be shot on the large-scale formats of IMAX 65mm and standard 65mm film to achievement the best image quality and experience for the film.
It will be shooting in May of 2016 and will be using real locations from the historical events.
