Noragami Season 1 TV Review

Noragami is a show that I only really found through the soundtrack. Because I had heard how good the soundtrack was I check it out and really enjoyed it, so after hearing the soundtrack I had to go at least check out the show.

I'm glad I did cause this is a pretty fun show to watch and yes, the music is also great in it to.

In the first episode I wasn't completely sold by it though, mostly because I didn't really care a whole lot about the characters and the plot they were setting up. It wasn't until about episode 3 or 4 where the show really started to peak my interest. I think what the show was missing up until then was a third party member to make the dynamic between the characters a bit more interesting than it had been.

For the most part the series doesn't take it self too series, which is fine and they do make use of most episodes to grow the characters while they have fun. Not making it feel like filler which most shows seem to fall into the trap of.

In the last quarter of the show, things to get a bit more series than previous by the characters actions and things from their past. We get introduced to a number of antagonist that I feel could've been fleshed out more, but I have a feeling they will make a return in future seasons of the show. Which is kinda the biggest problem with the show is that it doesn't feel complete, but they have announced already in production is another season so for right now it gets a pass.

The first season of Noragami feels small without being small, which is good cause it made the show easy to get into and follow through to until the end. Its definitely is a series worth checking out, especially if your looking for some new Anime to watch.
