Rogue One continues to get more and more changes added to the film, to the rewrites to the reshoots, its very clear that this film has been changed in tone. Todays new also kinda confirms that. I only hope that these changes to the film will ultimately improve the film and not hurt it but with Disney knows the stakes of this film, I think it will be fine. Due to a schedule change, Alexandre Desplat is stepping down as composer for the upcoming Rogue One Star Wars Film. Michael Giacchino (The Incredibles, Mission Impossible) will now be the composer for the film and the first composer other than John Williams to score a Star Wars film. I actually kind of like this change because Giacchino has sorta become the up and coming John Williams with his style of sound. I think Giacchino will also be the best replacement for when John Williams decides to step down from doing Star Wars films. I am curious to see what he decides to bring to the film and also how much of the tone has changed from before. Source: schmoesknow
Lawrence Kasdan, screenwriter for the upcoming Han Solo anthology film as well as the writer for the most Star Wars movies to date, has given some info about the film specifically about when they will be shooting.
Speaking with Atlanta Business Chronicle, Kasdan said this:
"Oh, I think so! You know, Chris Miller and Phil Lord are going to direct
it. They’re great, funny and imaginative and we’ve had a great time
together. My son [Jon] and I wrote the script and Chris and Phil are
working on it and they’re about to move to London to start shooting in
January. And it should be fun."
I really don't expect to see anything more concrete until Star Wars Celebration in July. We've only gotten casting announcements such as Alden Ehrenreich who will be playing Han Solo. Until then, Rogue One is just months away from release. The movie is set to release on May 25, 2018 and will be directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller from a script by Lawrence Kasdan and his son, Jon. Source: star wars net
Wilkes is saved from Stark! I really liked seeing Stark in this episode, it added a bit of fun and random to the plot especially at the men only club. The scene where Peggy plants the bugs in the room was very well done, and it was intense seeing her trying to escape. I thought that Wilkes after effect from the Zero Matter was interesting. It seemed like it was a power he had but because Stark seemed to have fixed his problem. On the other side, Ms. Frost seems to have lost control of her effects and is too afraid to tell anyone about it in fear what would happen to her. The whole time I am just thinking...Go to Stark! But I don't even think her character knows about him or even knows who he is. It is going to be interesting seeing how her power will affect her life and the others around her. Thinking back, this was more of a catch up kind of episode, nothing really new happened just establishing what we already know, but helping out a character while seeing another become more and more absorbed by the Zero Matter.
