Transformers 5 Will Be Michael Bay's Last Film in Series

Michael Bay is coming back for one more Transformers before passing the torch to another director to take on the franchise. All the Michael Bay directed Transformers films have been blockbuster hits at the box office and knowing this will be his last I'm sure this one will be included. There has also been mention not too long ago that the franchise will continue long past Transformers 5 so this would make sense that this would be his last. He had this to say to Rolling Stone.





“I’m doing Transformers … 5, is it? J.J. [Abrams] told me, ‘You’re the only guy that could do this.’ But it’s time to move on. One more.”

Transformers 5 is slated for released in summer 2017 and currently doesn't have any details on the plot nor the name of the film it self.  I hope that Michael Bay can finally make the Transformers film that most fans have been wanting especially because this will be his last contribution to the franchise. We will have to wait and see until then.
