Agent Carter Season 2 Episode 1 The Lady in the Lake TV Review
Agent Carter is back with a season 2 and this time she is traveling to California.
The episode picks up where it ends from season one. She is in a middle of an interrogation when she is suddenly called off the case for now and is sent to California. To help them with supposed backup. She meets up with Jarvis and goes to the new hidden SSR headquarters where she will be working from.
A woman is frozen in a full cube of ice that it recovered from a river and brought in for a autopsy. They get a sample of what froze the woman and they find out that it isn't your typical ice. It can infect other it comes it contact with, but also freezes them until they are hit hard enough to shatter.
I did like this episode was the investigation was interesting for the most part. The new setting can make for a lot of cool landmarks to show during this time period. I just hope they take advantage of that.
The only problem is the amount of reveals that this episode contains. It could be interesting in the future but as of right now, we already know who the villain is and all the people who are involved. No real surprise could actually happen in the future now because of these reveal.
The first episode is good and I have a feeling this will get better as the season progresses but right now we are only left with mystery.
