I heard a lot of great things about Whiplash before seeing it and I knew it was a movie I had to check out. After see the movie, I could easily say its one of the best movies to come out of 2014.

The biggest stand out in this movie is the performance, mostly from the two stars of the movie, Miles Teller and J.K. Simmons. Their dynamic is what makes this movie and some of the best scenes in the movie are just the interaction between them.

The story of the film is one of the most original ideas I've seen from a movie and of something that I wouldn't have expected to be so original. The movie does a great job at keeping me intrigued and engaged in the movie always adding a new element that makes the movie grow.

Whiplash is one of the best movie to come out in a while and really stands out from most of the movies out there. I easily recommend this to anyone who is a fan of film or music in general.
