I Origins is definitely an interesting movie, I am aware that is it based of a book or at least somewhat is.

The movie follows a scientist who happens to immediately fall in love with a complete stranger he had only met within a few days. I won't spoiler what happens, but a series of a events lead to hm finding the key to his research and even questioning what he has spent so much time dedicating thus far.

The main problem I have with the movie is that its goal is not all that well focused or realized. By the end of the movie you don't really know why the main character is putting so much effort into a certain thing.

I did enjoy the beginning but I feel like the movie went into a direction that should've been more self contained.

Overall I Origins is a good movie and is a movie for people who like sci-fi and philosophical meaning in film.
