Universal Replaces ‘Apes’ Slot With Damon-Greengrass ‘Bourne’ Sequel

The Bourne series is coming back, and its won't be too long until we see it! Today Universal moved the date for the upcoming Damon-Greengrass Bourne Sequel to July 29, 2016, which is back two weeks from its original planned date.

It now replaces what used to the date for the next Installment of the Planet of The Apes trilogy, which is now releasing in 2017.

I'm glad to see a new Bourne movie happening, especially now that both Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass are involved. I did like the direction they took with The Bourne Legacy, but the movie it self was being held back by being so closely involved with the previous movie. I still hope they plan a crossover of some sort in the future.
