John Boyega Says Star Wars Episode VIII Has A Much Darker Script
Will this new trilogy of Star Wars movies just follow the formula of the original? It just might be the case for the sequel at least. In an interview with John Boyega he had this to say about the script for Episode VII.
"It's great. Much darker, but we're very excited,” Boyega told Vogue of the film’s script.
The sequel to a movie tends to always go the Empire Strikes Back style of making things much darker and serious for the story and overall tone. It's no surprise its being done here because its a cliche that works for the most part.
Star Wars Episode VIII is releasing in May 2017.
