DC is quick to grab whoever they want! J.K. Simmons, who you might know from the Sam Raimi Spider Man trilogy as well as winning an Oscar for Whiplash is now casted to be the next Commissioner Gordon in the new DC Cinematic Universe! Justice League is already slated to start filming in just a month from now and the time has already arrived for characters in the Batman films to be replaced once again. Chris Terrio is writing the script for Justice League and Zack Snyder is attached to direct. Justice League Part One will release in Nov 17, 2017 with Part Two following in June 14, 2019. This morning we had a lot of new posters for Dawn of Justice as well a final trailer for the film. Which is a whole lot better than the previous trailer! I am still worried about this film because while it looks cool, can it really hold up on the story telling aspect and everything else that isn't just action. It doesn't help that there is already so much in the film as it is, including the major fight between Batman and Superman. We will have to wait and see until the film comes out, which isn't to off from now. Releases March 25, 2016.

We have already speculated that the new Batman we see in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice was going to be a older more experienced superhero that may have retired. Which would be more in line with The Dark Knight Returns comic book. Batman V Superman producer Michael Uslan mention about Ben Affleck being cast as the new Bruce Wayne:
“So, this [controversial superhero casting] has happened time and again, and it happened with Affleck. To go back to the original thought of Bruce Wayne in his mid-40s, I think he’s going to be extraordinary.”
I am looking forward to seeing a Batman in a movie that is more like the comic book version then we have had before. 'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justce' Opens in March 25, 2016.
