One of the biggest hits of the summer is finally out on Blu-Ray and for any of those who might have missed the movie back when it was still in theaters, now is your chance to see it!
Video Quality
The movie looks very good and bright on Blu-Ray, the movie it self is very colorful and has a high contrast to give it a colder look.
The movie was also shot on film, but because it has been so digitized you really wouldn't be able to tell. Its not the biggest problem but in case you miss that older look, its not here.
Audio Quality
The movie comes with a 7.1 Master audio source on the main Blu-ray with just a 5.1 on the DVD. There is a lot of detail and with all the noises made from the dinosaurs in the film you are going to want to watch this on a good system.
Special Features
There are the typical special features you see in most Blu-rays. From deleted scenes and a couple of behind the scenes stuff.
You do get a tour of the new Jurassic World with Chris Pratt which is interesting but other than that there really isn't anything that special here.
Which Edition To Buy?
There are 3 notable editions of the Blu-ray this movie comes in. There is the standard Blu-ray & DVD combo pack which is in all Blu-ray releases. For those who have a 3D TV there is a triple combo pack that comes with its own 3D Blu-ray in the case.
Now the 3rd edition of the Blu-ray is an exclusive collectors editions that comes in a special case as well as a couple of figures.The figures you get is the famous T-Rex that is from the original Jurassic Park film but who also shows up in the new film and the brand new D-Rex that was created just for this new film.
They have their own stands and they are detailed and even look cool when inside the case they come in.

Plot: Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar now
features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as
originally envisioned by John Hammond. After 10 years of operation and
visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new
attraction is created to re-spark visitor's interest, which backfires
horribly.
Jurassic Park is one of my favorite movies of all time, its a movie I can watch over and over and never get tired of. Jurassic World isn't that, but it has fun for what it is. That is probably the only real comparison I can make with Jurassic Park 3.
There is a noticeable lack of character development and some not to well dialogue through out the movie, but Chris Pratt's character makes it easier to bare. But on the other side I do really like the concept that starts off the films premise. It really feels like a progression from the first film. The one thing you can say about this movie is that it feels like of a sequel to Jurassic Park than the other two sequels.
Yes there is a lot of CGI in the movie, but at this point its in so many movies that I don't know weather it takes me out of the movie or I just don't care anymore. I don't hold it against the movie but its a problem all summer movies have now and days.
Jurassic World is exactly what a modernized Jurassic Park would be, Its entertaining but lacks a lot of what made the original so great. But its stands on it own enough to be an enjoyable ride to watch.
