Kingsman: The Secret Service (2015) Movie Review
R | 129 min
Genre: Action, Adventure, Comedy
Director: Matthew Vaughn
Writers: Jane Goldman & Matthew Vaughn
Stars: Colin Firth, Mark Strong, Taron Egerton, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Caine
Plot: A spy organization recruits an unrefined, but promising street kid into the agency's ultra-competitive training program, just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius.
Kingsman: The Secret Service is the latest film from Matthew Vaughn and is his own style and version of the spy genre with references to James Bond to all the others like it.
The big stand out and surprise of this movie is the action. Its fast paced and very well down, the style used is what made it interesting than the type fights you get in most movies. I even like how there are only about two or three fights in the whole movie which doesn't over do it.
The character also stand out in the movie and their dynamics are what makes most of the movie.Colin Firth's character is what kept me really interested in this world and seeing how he trained Taron Egerton's character was the best part of the movie.
Overall, Kingsman is a really entertaining movie, I like how it took a lot of concepts and references to other spy movies I like but not to much to make it feel like it couldn't stand on its own. If you haven't seen this you should check it out, especially if you looking for a superhero type movie that is lighter and funnier at the same time.
