Visual - A+
The first thing I noticed in Ghost in The Shell was how well done and ahead of its time the animation for the movie was. It could easily be passed as something in the 2000s or anything from just a few years ago. The visuals are so well done that alone, makes the movie worth watching.
Plot - A
The plot to this movie is interesting and different, While the theme are complex the story itself is straight forward and pretty easy to follow. There is a lot of hacking and a sorta not knowing if its the real world or not that is really makes its interesting. You can tell that The Matrix was heavily influenced by this film.
Concept - A
Concept - A
This movie has a very similar concept and style to films like (Blade Runner and Akira). I wouldn't be surprised if they were some how connected in the same universe. It is films like this that bring Sci-Fi and futuristic films to the next level on top of addressing issues that still affect us in the modern day.
Overall
Ghost in The Shell is a great movie that can still hold up today in visuals, if your a fan of Sci-Fi and Anime this is a movie worth checking out.
