Bates Motel Season 3 Episode 3 Persuasion Review

Episode: "Persuasion"

In the third episode of this season of Bates Motel, we some new twist and turns and a lot of paranoia in this episode. As well as a hint at a possible new threat that will perhaps come in the future.

We focus on Norma and Norman relationship as Norman is becoming more and more annoyed that his mother is constantly trying to help him. This leads to Norman trying to put himself in a situation similar to when he was stuck in the box in last season and that somehow triggered his memory.

But this time it doesn't happen and he ends up almost drowning himself. And is saved by his mother.

Meanwhile Romero is investigating the difference of the girl that Norma is worried about. There is a girl that shows up at the morgue but it turns out its not the girl that Norma was looking for. So this does lead to him coming back to question Norman again and he does tell him the truth of all he knows.

This leads to something else in the city possibly going on. Similar with the groups like past seasons.

There also is another situation where Emma has to deliver weed plants to Dylan's new future farm.
She ends up seeing Dylan's father and Dylan tells her not to tell Norma, which is an obvious set up for something in future.

Overall this was a pretty good episode, I do hope the things they are setting up are followed through from now on. Especially will the new twists they introduced in this episode.
